Pre-Order


The PRE-ORDER book for Shifting Light is now open. Rooted in our classic workwear forms, this brand new collection from LUMEN Designs features brand new Harris Tweed colours that capture the turn of the seasons.

The rolls of Harris Tweed fabric for the Shifting Light Collection are currently being woven on foot-peddled looms by weavers in the Outer Hebrides. After they are woven, they will be finished at the mill of Harris Tweed Hebrides and delivered down the road to the LUMEN workshop in Achmore. Delivery of the cloth is expected by the end of October, after which Mhairi will begin the creation of each item.

A note on production: Due to the small-scale nature of production at LUMEN, numbers of pre-order items will be limited to ensure delivery in time for Christmas, although we’ll do our best to fulfil any orders placed outwith the pre-order window too.
